I have been managing several different blogs for some time. I was sure that tech related blog audience will have different priorities than non tech visitors, but I never thought that the difference will be so significant.
Following are two charts (StatCounter) showing distribution of browsers used by visitors of my blogs. All data based on ~5000 unique visitors. The difference is amazing.
For summary:

| IE | 69% | 26% |
The conclusion is if you want to be on the top of the progress use Firefox (find download button on the left side).
